About the Director.
Kate Lloyd is a writer/director based in Brighton, UK. Her short films have screened at numerous film festivals around the world including London Short Film Festival and Hamburg IFF. Her latest short ‘Dead to Door’ was made in collaboration with Amazon Prime and The National Film & Television School as part of the Prime Director’s Course.
Kate has an unhealthy obsession with the weird, crafting offbeat worlds with a punk edge. She’s drawn to morally tangled characters, good people making bad choices, and stories which grab the audience by the guts and genitals.
