When Stacie suspects her BFF Becca is hiding a secret, her nosiness knows no bounds. As they say, curiosity killed the cat…

Director Statement
It was an interesting process being behind the camera directing and in front as an actor, but the post-production process has been the most eye-opening experience for me. I really wanted to have creative control of a project, which is why I took on the role of producer too. It's been a tough journey at times with a minimal budget, but I'm happy with what we made as a team and I hope it brings a smile and a bit of laughter to those who watch it.
About the Director - Anna Swan
I am a director, actor, writer, acting coach and now for the first time, a producer (what a learning curve this has been!) I've directed small theatre projects and I'm always directing when helping clients with self tape auditions. This is my directorial debut of a short film, and the first time of being the decision maker of a project from start to finish. I love directing and find I am open to exploration, yet decisive in my decision making. I have a clear idea of what I want, especially with comedy. Comedy is hard and I’m in awe of comedy writers and directors, and this is my first comedy project. There is a lot of pressure making sure the timing is perfect and the gags land as they should. I take a lot of inspiration from British comedy creators such as Jamie Demetriou, Diane Morgan and Tom Basden, and Irish superstar Sharon Horgan, and directors behind a lot of my favourite comedy’ shows, such as Simon Hynd, Tom Kingsley, Simon Bird and Alyssa McClelland, although there are hundreds of incredible directors, there’s always so much to learn from.
